Annemarie Jacir, an acclaimed Palestinian filmmaker, has made a film "Palestine 36", an historical drama set against the backdrop of the 1930s Palestinian revolt against Britain's colonial rule. It is set to have its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September.
